Di Matitinag sa Kaniyang Salita

Bato sa gitna ng alon

Sa panahon ngayon sa Pilipinas kung saan laganap ang maling impormasyon, mga isyung moral na pabagu-bago, at mabilis na pagbabago ng kultura, tanong ng marami: “Ano ang matibay na sandigan sa gitna ng lahat ng ito?” Ang sagot ay hindi teknolohiya, hindi opinyon, kundi ang Salita ng Diyos—hindi nagbabago at totoo magpakailanman.

Mateo 7:24-25 (MBB)
“Kaya't ang bawat nakikinig at sumusunod sa aking mga salita ay maihahambing sa isang matalinong taong nagtayo ng kanyang bahay sa ibabaw ng bato. Umulan, bumaha at humangin nang malakas at tinamaan ang bahay na iyon. Ngunit hindi ito nagiba, sapagkat ito'y nakatayo sa ibabaw ng bato.”

Ang pagtitiwala at pagsunod sa Salita ni Cristo ay hindi lamang para sa araw ng pagsamba—ito ang pundasyong magpapatatag sa atin tuwing dumaraan ang bagyo ng buhay. Hindi inalis ng Panginoon ang ulan o baha, ngunit tiniyak Niya na ang bahay na itinayo sa Kaniyang mga salita ay di matitinag.

Sa panahong halos lahat ay may sariling "katotohanan," paanyaya ng Diyos na bumalik tayo sa Kaniyang Salita—ang tunay at iisang pamantayan. Hindi ito palaging madali, ngunit ito lamang ang daan tungo sa tunay na kapayapaan at katatagan.

“Magpakailanman, O Panginoon, ang iyong salita ay natatag sa kalangitan.”

Hindi binabago ng panahon ang kapangyarihan ng Salita ng Diyos. Ito ay hindi nagkakamali, hindi nauurong, at hindi napapaso. Ito ang ilaw sa ating landas, lalo na sa panahon ng kadiliman.

Pagsasabuhay

Sa tuwing haharap ka sa desisyong moral, tanungin ang sarili: “Ano ang sinasabi ng Salita ng Diyos?” Huwag tayong makiayon sa takbo ng mundo. Magsimula ng araw sa pagbabasa ng Biblia. Alamin ang kalooban ng Diyos hindi mula sa damdamin, kundi mula sa Kaniyang malinaw na pahayag.

Paraan upang manatiling matatag:

  • Maglaan ng oras araw-araw para sa pagbabasa ng Biblia
  • Ilista ang mga talatang nagpapalakas ng iyong pananampalataya
  • Gamitin ang Mateo 7:24-25 bilang panalangin sa oras ng tukso
  • Turuan ang iyong pamilya mula sa Salita ng Diyos

Panalangin:
Panginoon, salamat sa Iyong Salita na matibay na batong aming masasandigan. Turuan Mo kaming magtiwala hindi sa aming sariling unawa, kundi sa Iyong katotohanang walang hanggan. Patatagin Mo ang aming pananampalataya sa gitna ng gulo, at itanim Mo sa aming puso ang masidhing pagnanais na sumunod sa Iyo. Sa pangalan ni Jesus, Amen.
