God Is My Salvation
— Isaiah 12:2 (KJV)
Isaiah’s proclamation is a confident declaration of faith rooted in God’s character. The prophet does not merely point to God as a distant hope—he declares, “God is my salvation.” This is not theoretical but deeply personal. To say “I will trust, and not be afraid” is to stand on the certainty of God's promises even in the midst of adversity. Jehovah is not only strength in times of trial, but also a song of joy and deliverance.
Supporting Scripture: “The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.” (Exodus 15:2)
Application
When fear rises, remember Isaiah 12:2. Make this your declaration: God Himself is your salvation. You do not need to rely on your own strength or be shaken by circumstances. Begin each day proclaiming His faithfulness and let trust replace fear. God’s presence transforms trembling into singing.
Prayer:
Lord Jehovah, You are my strength and salvation. I trust in You and will not be afraid. Remind me daily of Your power and faithfulness. Let Your joy be my song and Your presence my peace. Amen.
