Held by His Righteous Hand
— Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)
In a world filled with uncertainty and shifting ground, the Lord speaks clearly: “Fear thou not; for I am with thee.” This divine assurance is not grounded in our circumstances but in the unchanging presence and character of God Himself. We are reminded that the One who upholds the universe is the same One who holds us — not by our merits but by the strength of His righteousness.
When fear threatens and discouragement rises, this verse becomes a fortress for the weary soul. God not only promises His presence but also His help, His strength, and His upholding hand. We are not alone in our battles; we are carried by grace.
Psalm 27:1 – “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
Are you facing trials that feel overwhelming? This verse calls you to anchor your heart not in what you see, but in Who holds you. Let go of anxious striving and lean into the hand that never lets go. Pray this verse daily, meditate on His promises, and take practical steps to remind yourself of His nearness — through Scripture, song, and silence before Him.
“When God promises to uphold us, He means by His own strength, not by our ability. His upholding is sovereign, undeserved, and sufficient.” — John Calvin
